PUBLISHED: Educational Access Group is thrilled to announce the publication of our research documenting the pilot of our novel S.I.T.E. Framework with @SpringerNature in the Journal of Child & Adolescent Trauma. BIG NEWS! Our team at Educational Access Group is thrilled to announce our partnership with Dr. Bruce Perry and The Neurosequential Network to offer The Neurosequential Model in Education© Implementation Training Program. A program for NME Trainers and Advanced NME Trainers ready to bring advanced implementation and data tracking elements to schools and youth serving organizations to improve the implementation and sustainability of the NME. We work with the most amazing educators!! Ms. B allowed us to share this post which is a perfect example of the innovative supports her team offers to make school a safe and regulating space for all. Above and beyond! The power of a brain-based lens ✨ . Offering trainings through @ralston_house is always an amazing opportunity for us. Thanks for having us and thank you for the work you do to support victims of abuse. Watched a student rock with this guy on his chest to regulate and focus on a math lesson, it was powerful. There is a real big smile under my mask after spending our Friday in classrooms surrounded by amazing students, educators and bearded dragons 💚 We spent the week observing some phenomenal teachers and collaborating with instructional coaches to make sure teacher evaluations included brain-based and trauma-informed best practices. Teacher evaluations should always include these look-fors and teachers need to be acknowledge for all they do to support students brains and bodies that may not fit into a traditional evaluation rubric. Teacher scoring and evaluation can be traumatic for teachers and this is a great way to honor ALL that they do. This Core Team is building out intervention lists to support different areas of the brain; making brain-based/trauma-informed work authentic and sustainable in their building. We can always offer suggestions and ideas but they are the experts and we always end up learning a lot. One of our favorite parts of partnering with schools is getting to be a part of their team. One of our traditions is to get a school shirt to show our support, join the community and make ourselves standout less during observations. It’s always such an honor and though there a few shirts missing from this pile, looking at it really makes us immensely grateful to be a part of so many amazing teams!
